A very impressive group of 9 1/2″ Chinese export porcelain dinner plates in the famous Rockefeller pattern, each finely decorated with a central Mandarin scene within hand-painted diapered cavettos and richly gilded borders, all with reserves of  highly detailed miniature scenes of landscapes and birds of amongst flowering branches. This was some of the best bespoke Chinese export porcelain available at the time and two centuries has hardly diminished its desirability as a service in this pattern recently fetched a million dollars at Christies New York. These plates are all in good condition and date to circa 1795.  Priced individually.
