A vibrantly enameled set of five Chinese export porcelain 9 3/4″ soup plates decorated in famille rose enamels, each centered with richly detailed Mandarin scene of courtly and leisurely pursuits, all within an elaborate border of elaborate lattice work alternating with vignettes of baskets of flowers and antique and precious objects. Great detail and enamels, one with a rim chip filled, otherwise all in very good condition. Circa 1825-1830.
