A very elegant pair of China Trade pith paper paintings of baskets of flowers meticulously rendered in gouache, the colors as vibrant as the day they were rendered. Each set in an octagonal mat within a custom gilded frame, measuring approx. 18″ x 15″ and dating to the mid-19th century.
Another fine example of Japanese Meiji period artistry, this fine ivory okimono of an elderly gentleman standing with a bouquet of lotus is beautifully carved. Measuring 7 1/2″ tall, restoration to small piece of lotus stem, late 19th/early 20th century.
