A very charming and whimsical pair of Kangxi period Chinese export porcelain figures decorated in famille verte enamels, their colorful robes with peony blossom and swirling cloud designs are as engaging as their rather impish expressions. Both raised upon a porcelain ‘stonework’ base and conforming custom made wooden stands. Measuring 10 1/2″ tall with the stand and with restoration to the heads and hands of each, as can be expected with such figures of this age, otherwise in good condition. Kangxi period, circa 1700-1720.
