An exceptionally well-painted Chinese export porcelain plate decorated in a rich dark sepia in the Fitzhugh pattern. From a special order service, superbly monogrammed within the central roundel, the original owner’s initials,as yet, to be identified. With two very minor rim chips, and two very short lines to the reverse restored, otherwise in good condition. Measuring 7 3/4″ in diameter. Circa 1810.
