A wonderful pair of Chinese export porcelain Imari octagonal platters with a molded edge surrounding a rim border of meandering vines and flowers, the large central decoration of blossoming lotus, all rendered in underglaze blue, iron red and gilding. A line to the front of one, presently being restored, and some slight gilding wear, otherwise both in fine condition; of great size and richly decorative. Measuring  15″ x 11″. and dating to circa 1720-40.
