A very elegant pair of Yongzheng period Chinese export porcelain 9″ plates, decorated in famille rose enamels, each centered with a noble arms surmounted by a coronet crest, the rims with beautifully shaded branches of flowering peony. Bearing the arms of Bouczo de Rongouet¬†and identified in Lebel’s Armoires Francaises et Suisses sur la Porcelaine de Chine au XVIIIe Siecle, page 204. In good condition with only a slight re-touch to the gilding, and one with a very faint hairline to the reverse rim of one. Circa 1730.
