A very fine Chinese export porcelain drum form teapot with strap handles, made for the American market and decorated on both sides with a ship flying a large American flag, firing off its cannons, great clouds of smoke rising from the action. Measuring 6″ x 9″ and in very good condition-a rare view of a ship firing its guns, and for to be rendered upon both sides of the pot. Circa 1800-1810.
