A truly special pair of Chinese export porcelain mark and period bowls from the Daoguang period (1821-1850). Each 6 5/8″ diameter bowl with a scalloped rim and beautiful turquoise interior, the exteriors each with finely painted Mandarin scenes within roundels against rich ground of flowers, fruits and butterflies in jewe-like enamels with a striking apple green ground. Just superb quality and in very good condition.
