A very finely potted and decorated Chinese export porcelain Yongzheng period teabowl and saucer, of shaped form, painted in a delicate famille rose palette with images of boaters, fishermen, and water fowl, the water strewn with rose-colored petals. The saucer measuring 5 1/8″ in diameter, the teabowl 3 1/2″, and in very fine condition with an ex-Chait Collection provenance. Fantastic quality as can be expected from this period. Circa 1730.
