A charming and highly decorative pair of Chinese porcelain lychee nut pyramids, decorated in ‘egg and spinach’ glaze and modeled as pyramidal stacks of lychees with their leaves arranged in shallow scalloped dishes.  Possibly used as altar offerings in temples, or decoratively at home, the lychee nut is a symbol of romance, beauty, and good luck.
