A very refined pair of Chinese export porcelain 11 1/2″ saucer dishes decorated in Famille Rose enamels centered with a branch of flowering peony which is beautifully set off by the surrounding white space of the porcelain, the rim border a soft green diapering with reserves of grisaille landscapes. Both pieces displaying a perfect balance of decorative elements, color and white space. Both dishes in good condition with only rim frits filled. Ex-Matthew and Elisabeth Sharp Collection.
